So today I'm having a lunch date with my mom :) We ate at an asian restaurant called "Penang Bistro". It wasn't exactly a lunch date because the occasion was to bid my dad's boss goodbye for his retirement. Since it was actually a not-so-casual lunch, I decided to wear my new Minimal black top with a white pants. I tried to match the restaurant with my outfit because the place was sophisticated, cozy, and gorgeous. For the pop of colours, I used a yellow necklace with a unique centerpiece that is mirrorlike and I also wore a magenta wedge pumps. I didn't wear a lot of accessories to make things simpler, I just wore my favourite watch, a hippie bracelet, and an owl bracelet. After all, you know what they say, less is more! ;) For the bag, I was using my favourite blue striped bag.. I really love that bag because it's not too big but I can fit everything, and I mean EVERYTHING in it. Since I have a lot of stuffs, I need a bag that's big enough but still looks nice for a not-so-casual occasion.
So if you guys need an inspiration for a not-so-causal occasion, I totally recommend to try out this look. It's chic, it's simple, it's effortless, yet stunning, and the best part is, you can still go somewhere more casual with this outfit without looking overdressed. If you think the wedge pumps are too much, you can always change them with a pair of flats. My advice, if you do try out this look, just have fun with it. Oh, and you can send me pictures of you with this look to salt and satin's email address, or you can upload your pictures in twitter and just mention salt and satin. Cheers! ;)
