Method
To make the sauce: 1. Melt butter in a nonstick sauté pan over a low heat, add flour, and a pinch of salt & pepper 2. Stir until the mixture is smooth and a bit bubbly 3. Stir in milk 4. Dice the chicken breast, and mix it with the sauce 5. Keep stirring the sauce and turn the heat to a medium 6. Add 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard and a pinch of nutmeg 7. Make sure that the chicken is cooked 8. Lower the heat, then add the Swiss cheese 9. Add salt and pepper to taste Putting it all together: 1. Toast the breads to get a bit of crunchy texture 2. Put the baby spinach on top of the first bread 3. Pour in the sauce on top of the baby spinach 4. Top it up with another bread 5. Serve while it’s warm ☺ |
